Today we had the most amazing recce with an inspirational young boy who is battling with cancer. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor last year and after an 11 hour operation he has had to undergo months of chemotherapy. Despite all this he is such a happy boy and is tackling life head on taking each day as it comes.
His parents have dealt with his condition with exceptional grace. They spend all their time trying to make each day special for for their son.
I have no doubt that he will be in our final documentary. The whole family are very accommodating to us and are willing for us to join them on the torch relay day :)
It's all so exciting!
