Breaking into Media Event
Yesterday we went to Plymouth University for the breaking into media event I found it extremely informative and ever so slightly scary, apparently it is very hard to break in to the media business and you really do have to be the best to get noticed! I better pull my finger out... I learnt a lot about what employers within TV are looking for from the panel session, this will definitely come in handy in the future. The secrets of a Hotel Inspector was very enlightening about what it is really like to make a television series, I enjoyed this part. But the best part of the day, in my opinion, was the RTS student awards cause my boyfriend, along with his production group, won the factual category with Rid an anxiety awareness piece. Much deserved even if I am slightly biased, I do have a lot to live up to now though the bar is set pretty high...
